My name is Elaine and I am founder of Sustainable Home Interiors website and resources. My aim for this website is to provide a comprehensive resource hub that will inspire those seeking eco-friendly alternatives for their interior spaces. I will offer practical tips for reducing environmental impact, and feature inspiring case studies that demonstrate the beauty, affordability and functionality of sustainable home interiors.

From Renovation to Inspiration: My journey to Sustainable Home Interiors
The inspiration to create my website Sustainable Home Interiors emerged from a personal journey that involved both a house renovation and a growing awareness of the urgent climate crisis.
During the budgeting phase of furnishing my renovated home, I realised that I could combine sustainability with cost-effectiveness. As I scoured the internet and explored various options, it became evident that I could not only invest in sustainably sourced items but also re purpose and refurbish existing furniture and decor.
I was encouraged by my daughter Jayne who is the best teacher I have regarding sustainability. She has always advocated sustainable living and has educated and inspired me to research and explore ways in which I can make conscious choices when furnishing my home as well as adopting a sustainable lifestyle generally. I am still in the early stages of my journey and am so excited to explore and learn more as I go.
